GO ON A MISSION
One day, a dad named Adam decided to dig deeper into chore time.
After taking a closer look at the ingredient labels on his family’s conventional cleaners,
he realized there was a bigger mess on their hands than just dish duty.
Conventional cleaners may be good on grime, but are all of the chemicals in them safe for us and the environment?
Recognizing the need for a “cleaner” clean, go by greenshield organic™ was born,
introducing the first line of USDA Certified Organic household cleaners in the U.S.A.

Product Development Chemist
I am a product development chemist and spend the majority of my time either creating new detergents/cleaners or working on improving our existing products. I received my PhD from NC State University in Chemical Engineering, where I received training more suited to the pharmaceutical field. I decided to work with Greenology, instead, after I spent a few years raising my children and began to realize how the health of my children can be so affected by the everyday chemicals we use in our households. When I am not mixing cleaners, I love to spend time outdoors with my family…biking, hiking, camping, and boating. It’s a beautiful world we live in and I hope we can keep it that way!
Production & Inventory Control Manager
The main focus of my job is to ensure we have sufficient material on hand to produce our products and to make sure those products are produced in a timely manner so they are available for our customers to purchase. One of the best parts about the position is working on new projects and constantly learning new things within our industry, while also leaning on my experience from previous positions. I am a passionate sports fan with much of that passion directed at all things Virginia Tech (my alma mater), the New York Yankees, and New York Giants. I also enjoy keeping up with the latest technology, whether it’s a new smart phone or tablet, gaming system, or smart home gadgets. My three boys keep me on my toes and getting to be a dad is the highlight of each day.
Business Development Manager
My job is to support the production and availability of superior, innovative products while keeping sustainability a top priority. I thrive on improving operational efficiency, driving business growth and building partnerships with the community for greater causes. I’m obsessed with German Shepherds, Bama football and very early morning workouts. I live by the Nike motto “Just Do it” and try to make the world a better a place every day.
As a formulator at heart, natural ingredients have played an indirect part in my career since the beginning, but Greenology puts it front and center. I am proud to put effective, relevant products on the shelf, which is one of my life goals. I’m a born and raised Jersey girl, but the South has blessed me with its sweet tea and cheesy grits. When I’m not in the lab, I love trying new restaurants, volunteering, crafting, playing oboe, and going on adventures with my husband, son, and two doggie children.
If it moves for Greenology, I am the guy! I am responsible for all inbound and outbound freight, supply chain analytics, and strategic logistics decisions. I earned a degree in business and supply chains from the beautiful Appalachian State University. Prior to Greenology I worked for a leading full service 3PL in a variety of departments with targeted knowledge of LTL freight and analytics. I am excited to use my logistics experience to get our safe products into the hands of our customers. I enjoy working hard every day so I can play even harder! Outside of work I enjoy cycling, mountain biking, motorcycle trials, motocross, hiking, traveling, and being with family. I enjoy spending time with my wonderful wife and two crazy golden retrievers. I am always open to new adventures and enjoy living life to its fullest every day!
The main focus of my role is the make sure that all of our production facilities have adequate supply to run our products needed to fulfill our customer’s orders. I love challenges, and working with supply chain surely has its challenges! The reward is being able to overcome the challenges, learn from them, and grow individually, and as a company. I am a graduate of North Carolina State, and an avid Wolfpack fan! In my free time, I enjoy running outdoors, baking creative cakes, taking care of our Nigerian Dwarf goats, chickens, and dogs, traveling with my husband and playing with my young son. I also have two teenage stepchildren who keep me busy with their various activities.
Quality Assurance Manager
My main goal is to ensure every process being performed and every organic product being crafted is compliant with the National Organic Program. I work with every department to quickly resolve any quality issues that may arise and focus on continuous improvement. I am originally from Hawaii, but was raised in Fayetteville, NC. There I attended and graduated from Fayetteville State University. Outside of the office, my son and I are either having a movie night, trying various cuisines, or taking a spontaneous road trip.
As the R&D Manager, I love keeping the creative energy flowing with the lab team, and finding courageous and inspiring ways to overcome challenges. I received my PhD in Chemistry from University of Illinois-Urbana. I have always been passionate about designing products that are greener, milder options for those with sensitivities, and those just looking for safer alternatives. I am proud to be able to leverage my diverse Consumer R&D and Strategic Leadership experience to continue to propel Greenology forward. After hours, I enjoy being outdoors hiking, meditating by the ocean, designing landscape gardens, and achieving dreams. Lastly, I am a life-long Cubs Fan… Fly the W!
My job is to work directly with the team to ensure all the administrative and support functions of the sales department are operating effectively, and that client information is available to the entire team. I’m passionate about creating gardens, animal rescue and enjoy the outdoors with my rescue pup, Cooper. Working here at Greenshield Organic dovetails my personal efforts to be as eco-friendly as possible. “Going green doesn’t start with green acts-it starts with a shift in consciousness”
As an Accountant, I assist the Controller in the daily, monthly, and annual accounting processes for this growing business. In my free time, I enjoy traveling to new places, trying new restaurants, and playing in a local volleyball league. I am also very passionate about running. I have completed various races over the past 8 years. I have also mentored other runners who were preparing for their next race. I am an avid Cubs fan, having lived in Chicago for over a decade before making the move to Raleigh. Hopefully, it won’t be another 100 years before they win their next World Series!
